Today Paykans make about a third of the 6.5 million cars on Iran's roads. 40 years after Hillman Hunter was introduced in Iran as Paykan (1967), in a few weeks the last Paykan will roll off the assembly line, and Iran Khodro will focus on manufacturing the newer Peugeot models (405 and 206). But don't worry spare parts will be supplied for another 10 years when the 50 years of Paykan in Iran come to an end.
